The Digital Economy Network has delivered a series of two-day PhD student writing retreats at various locations since 2017. Over 230 places have been offered and financial supported by DEN for current doctoral students who need to use the facilitated events to specifically focus on research writing projects in a time-structured, goal orientated format.
PhD or EngD students from all DEN member Centres have been amongst the CDT students to benefit from these popular activities. Delegates have used the events to focus on writing requirements such as thesis chapters, literature reviews, annual reviews, presentations, and journal and conference papers.
